Kezialain Farm has supported our family since William and Keziah settled here in
1775. We want to nurture the land that has provided for our family for so long.
That's one reason we've treated the farm organically for over 20 years, long
before we were certified as organic.
We raise organic, grass-fed animals
because we feel they support the land. They eat what the fields naturally grow,
and they fertilize the soil as they eat. Cattle are made to eat grasses, not
grains. Ours eat the lush grass that grow on our rich organic soil. They are
healthier than cattle that are crowded into feedlots and stuffed with grain, and
their meat is healthier for us.
Our meat is available directly from our farm
and through area CSAs. We sell by the quarter and half, as well as in 40 pound
packs of approximately half ground beef and chuck, and half roasts and steaks,
which we try to put together according to your preferences as much as possible.
