We now have products being used in the Professional, Consumer and Agricultural
markets. Each of these products is designed to use insect pests' natural
behaviors to provide control of the pests with minimal impact on non-target
animals, including people and pets, and the environment. We have been working
for many years with the developers of the KM AntPro� bait dispensing system, as
well as university researchers in California and around the world, to develop
and demonstrate the use of liquid baits for the control of ants in agriculture.
This control is an important part of reducing the damage done to high-value
crops by aphids, scales, mealy bugs and white flies. In many cases, ants protect
these pests from their natural enemies and transport them to healthy plants,

Research has shown that the increased yield achieved by using our
system more than compensates for the cost. It has also been shown that our
system eliminates the ant colonies, which are slow to reinfest treated areas;
therefore, costs continue to amortize year after year. These facts, combined
with the benefits to worker safety, food safety, ground water safety, the lack
of pollution to the air, the lack of pesticide resistance in ants and the lack
of effect on honeybees and other beneficial insects, make the use of our system
