Some of our activities: provide quality animal care in our no-kill shelter,
which houses approximately 250 animals; place animals in good homes through
carefully screened adoptions; provide emergency animal rescue and medical
treatment for rescued animals; reunite Lost and Found animals with their
families; sponsor volunteer activities in our shelter and in the community;
obtain medical care for animals in our shelter; promote animal welfare in areas
such as abuse prevention and responsible animal care; maintain a foster care
programs for very young animals and animals with special medical or behavioral
problems; educate children, civic groups and the community about humane
treatment of animals and related issues such as spaying and neutering; serve as
a community resource for animal-related questions and issues.
