At the Daily Grind we have more than 30 years of experience in selective purchasing of
organic grains and milling whole grain flours and meals. Custom milled products include
pastry flour from locally grown soft white wheat; spelt flour from locally grown spelt;
bread flour from prairie-grown hard red spring wheat; whole grain pasta flour from 100%
durum wheat; corn meal from locally grown corn; oat flour from hulled whole oats; dark
buckwheat flour from whole unhulled buckwheat; soy flour from whole raw locally grown
soybeans; barley flour from whole hulled barley; and dry bean flour from several varieties
of locally grown dry beans.
Everything we sell under the Daily Grind name is made from
100% organically grown grain or beans. Our grains and beans are purchased directly from
the growers and are grown according to exact organic standards established by a third
party certifying agency. To qualify for certification, growers much remain chemical free
and pursue an active program of soil improvement for at least three years prior to
harvest.
