Green Mind Woodworks is dedicated to thoughtful building with the future in
mind. We know that everything is interconnected. We strive to build products
that can stand the test of time, with as little waste and impact as possible.
For us "green" is not just about products, it is also vital to think of the
building as a whole. How does each part work together to provide comfort,
efficiency, and flexibility? Our mission is to help our clients bring their
dreams into reality and to be as green as they can be.
We use recycled
and reclaimed lumber and building products when appropriate. When we need new
lumber we use FSC certified lumber or sustainable harvested local lumber. We
also incorporate "green Framing" techniques to reduce the amount of lumber
needed. On our finished products we offer low VOC finishes.
