A BIRTH CENTER is a Safe Healthy choice for women who desire the Personalized
option of MIDWIFERY care. Centering Pregnancy Classes will be part of the woman
and her family's experience. Some goals of Centering is preparation for
pregnancy, labor and birth, breastfeeding, parenting, and techniques to reduce
the stressors we encounter in our life's journey. The director has been in
practice for 10 years and is building the first Birth Center in NE. The center
is expected to be ready in April or May of 07. The center will be able to
accomadate up to 3 laboring families. The mother may have the option of laboring
and or birthing in a tub. The mom and baby are never separated. There is of
course follow up within 24-48 hours after the birth by the CNM or RN. There is
OB backup for consultation and or transfer if needed. (My e-mail address is
