Frontier Barnwood has been removing retired Wyoming snow Fence since 1978. The
lumber dimensions are 1" x 6" x 4'-16' and 2" x 6" x 6'-7'10". Species is Doug
Fir and Pine and both are beautifully weathered on all sides of each board.
This reclaimed lumber has been utilized in both residential and commerical uses
all over the USA and Canada. We now have re-saw capability through the board
thickness. This enables us to utilize both sides of a board and creates a
smooth surface on the wall side of a board, thus ensuring a flush application
and reducing the weight of the lumber applied to a wall or ceiling. We also
manufacture a line of clocks, lamps, planters, picture frames and custom work as
well. This material is environemntally friendly and far superior to lumber
reclaimed from barns and old outbuildings. It is naturally weathered on the
High Plains of Wyoming and is beautifully grained and colored due to the harsh
Wyoming climate. It is more consistent in dimensions than lumber from barns as
well.
