Friends of the Riverfont works to integrate the value and appreciation of our rivers and
riverfronts into a regional strategy for sustainable economic development, quality of
life, community revitalization and environmental renewal. Our waterways is our most
precious and important resource yet still in danger. To restore, protect and use them
responsibly reflects the character of our community. The annual Pittsburgh Triathlon and
Adventure Race celebrates how far our region has come but the work that has yet to be
