Energy Aware markets the the PowerTab, a device that provides real-time feedback
on the electricity consumption in the home, in dollars and cents. The device
monitors your total household consumption and displays the information on a user
friendly, wireless display that you can take anywhere in the home.
The
PowerTab display provides the following real-time feedback:
Running Tab of what
the electricity bill might be at any point in the billing
cycle.
Current
Rate of consumption in dollars / hour. Predicted Bill of the expected bill at
the end of the billing cycle.
Emissions of approximate greenhouse gas
emissions and CO2 generated.
Time-Of-Use Indication: For variable rate billing,
indication if on or off-peak rates are in effect.
Energy Target Status: A green
or red indicator showing if energy saving goals
will be met.
