Earthbound Farm began in 1984 in a small backyard garden with a big commitment
to organic farming. Today, we work with 150 dedicated farmers to grow our
healthy and delicious certified organic gourmet specialty salads, fruits, and
vegetables on more than 35,000 acres. In 2010 alone, our organic farming will
keep 11.5 million pounds of conventional agricultural chemicals out of the
environment, conserve more than 1.8 million gallons of petroleum, and sequester
as much carbon dioxide as taking 7,800 cars off the road.
