As a leading supplier of organic and non-organic strawberries, raspberries,
blueberries and blackberries, Driscoll’s is proud to offer consumers a variety
of berries to choose from.
Driscoll’s premium, organic berries are bred using
only proven natural and traditional breeding processes. Driscoll’s berries are
not genetically modified or subjected to irradiation. They meet the same quality
and safety standards as our non-organic berries, but are also grown within the
National Organic Standards established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture
(USDA).
The USDA National Organics Standards set uniform standards for
organic food production and labeling. In order for a product to be labeled
organic, it must first be certified by an accredited certifying agency that is
licensed by the USDA. Driscoll’s organic berries are grown by independent
farmers whose growing and handling operations are certified organic by
California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF), a USDA-accredited certifying
agency.
