We are a family farm on 50 acres just outside Newberg, Oregon. We raise
Icelandic Sheep for their beautiful fleeces which handspinners love, and lean,
delicious meat. Our Icelandic lambs are raised on rotational grass and clover
pastures - fed alfalfa and grass hay, receive a blend of minerals and have
plenty of space for grazing and leading a natural life. They spend the first
three months with their mothers. Some national health food stores are importing
Icelandic Lamb as an exotic treat, why not try some locally grown? Icelandic
Lamb has more meat to bone ratio than the commercial sheep breeds, and we sell
lamb by the half or the whole. We have lamb ready usually by the end of October
- beginning of November, and sometimes during other times of the year as well.
$5.75 per pound hanging weight -this includes the cut and wrap, hanging weight
averages 35 pounds. Our butcher uses a special natural hanging process so that
our grass fed lamb is extra tender! Give us a call or visit our website.
