Description:

The best way to improve the energy efficiency in your home is to check, seal and
insulate your ducts that are used for heating or cooling. The cost for sealing
your ducts is around $500 but before anyone can do that you will need to
identify where the loss is and if this is something that is needed in your home.
If your home is built before 2002 your home should be checked for duct leackage.
Testing can be done in under an hour and will determine where to start in making
your home more efficiency. We can assist if you are interested in doing a "Whole
House Energy Rating or audit" We are California HERS (Home Energy Rating System)
certified and available to do title 24 testing for new construction and
remodels. Air conditioning furnace ventilation systems and heat pump install or
repair inspection and replacement are all things that require testing. If you
let your contractor hire the tester then you run the risk of the tester erring
on the side of the contractor.
