About our cows' diet Our cows are raised on certified organic farms where they are free to
graze on open pasture, and enjoy a diet of fresh organic hay and grains. Organic
certification requires dairy cows be fed organic feeds for at least one year prior to
milking. These feeds must be grown on lands free of pesticides and chemical fertilizers
for a minimum of 3 years prior to certification.
