Citrojugo, S.A. de C.V. is the fruit processing unit of Citrojugo Group, an agro
industrial conglomerate fully dedicated to the Lime. It was established in 1980
to promote the social and economical development of the lime industry in the
state of Colima, Mexico.
Since then its activities have been growing to cover
a range going from tree nurseries to lime processing plants comprising
plantations, packing house, transportation and distribution centers.
Citrojugo's processing plant is located in the center of the most important
Mexican lime growing area in Tecoman, in the Pacific's coast of Mexico.
Citrojugo's groves supply around 30% of the limes processed in the plant which
gives a degree of certainly on the input. Over 100,000 tons of limes are
processed annually to produce a large variety of materials such as: Essential
oils (distilled, cold-pressed types A and B, essence oil and, specialty
products), juices: concentrated or single strength, cloudy or Clarified and,
