Description:
The CHEETA Primate Sanctuary is a desert haven that provides residence and lifelong care and rehabilitation for homeless and unwanted ex-show business primates. There are chimpanzees, orangutans, and monkeys at our desert refuge. The founder of the sanctuary created the shelter after he received custody of Cheeta. Cheeta is a chimpanzee that performed in the old black-and-white Tarzan movies from the 1930's and 1940's. All of the animals at the sanctuary are treated with love and kindness. The animals are provided with a stimulating environment and given activities that stir their intellect and curiosity. You can help us support the sanctuary by making a donation. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit; all funds go directly into the care of our animal friends and upkeep of the sanctuary. Your donations are tax deductible. Please visit us at www.cheetathechimp.org or write us at Cheeta Primate Sanctuary, Inc C/O Dan Westfall PO Box 8162 Palm Springs CA 9
