Central Milling has been a leading producer of Organic and Conventional flour in
this area for 133 years with the use of the roller mill system. In the early
years of operation a water powered turbine, driven by a diversion of the Logan
River, was used to power the mill until the implementation of an electrical
system in 1975. We now produce about 70% of the mills power with our water
turbine.
