Cayuga Pure Organics raises certified organic beans, grains, and other seeds
near Ithaca, NY. Our goal is to broaden the kinds of local organic food
available in our area.
Currently, we have available dried beans (black,
pinto, small red, and navy), hard red spring wheat berries, spelt berries, and
emmer This year we are growing several heritage bean varieties (Jacob’s Cattle,
Yellow-eye, adzuki, flageolet) and also are offering local organic flour through
our partner company, Farmer Ground.
So far, this project has been a labor
of love. A lot of work, but work done with love for what we are doing and
incredible gratitude for the support that has been expressed by members and
organizations in our community.
We feel privileged to be part of the
essential movement toward local, sustainable food production.
