We make traditional knives and tools out of lumber mill sawblade steel. Considering the
impact saw blades have had on our planet and the superb tool steel they are made from, it
seems insane that they are thrown out or used to make cheap pots and car doors. We strive
to make the finest tools and knives while creating fine art, leaving the lightest
footprint possible. With heart and soul.
We make timber framing chisels, loghome and
boatbuilding tools, woodworking and wood carving tools and knives.
We also make handmade
kitchen, fillet,hunting and bush knives. They all are hand forged, hardened and
differentially tempered. We make hand sewn leather sheaths and scabbards for the knives
and tools we make.
Aki also creates handcarved spoons and bowls, bolos and handmade
greeting cards.
We use recovered materials of excellent quality in our products and
power our shop with the sun through solar panels.
