Our company, Blackwell’s Organic Gelato & Sorbetto was founded by Marcia Blackwell in
April 2005. The recipes were developed several years ago by her husband, Tom. Cooking
has been his life long hobby.
We are a small family run company, producing a high
quality product with minimal impact on the environment. We also have made a commitment to
give back to the community through free product and monetary donations. We use only
certified organic ingredients and certified FairTrade™ cocoa, coffee and sugar. Our
products are preservative and extract free. Each ingredient is truly a whole food.
For
2 years we have been handcrafting our delicious certified organic dairy free gelato &
fruit sorbetto at a shared commercial kitchen in Red Bank, NJ.
Our retailers include
over 40 specialty and natural food stores in NY, NJ and PA. Including all NJ Whole Foods.
Every month we gain new customers. We now ship anywhere in the USA with FEDEX and dry ice
