Atlas Kasbah is a lovely family-operated ecolodge cared for by Hassan & Helene.
Both owners hold a Master’s Degree in sustainable development & tourism thus
Atlas Kasbah has won several sustainable tourism awards (eg the Morocco’s
Ministry of Tourism 2009 Responsible Tourism one).
The ecolodge combines an
assortment of Berber traditions with select European comforts all within a
unique hospitality experience that embraces cultural sensitivity & an
environment-friendly philosophy. The nice local Berber staff have received
extensive training enabling the Kasbah to further its committment to
community-based tourism.
Also, the 12 intimate rooms & suites have a
traditional Berber decor reflected also in the architectural motif & the use of
natural building material. They all boast spectacular views over the High Atlas
mountains & the famous Argane Biosphere Reserve.
