Education; disseminating information regarding the use of fur as clothing so
citizens can make conscientious decision regarding this issue. Most consumers do
not know that when purchasing a beautiful piece of fur they are contributing to
a most cruel and gruesome industry: the fur trade. Fur is a superfluous item
produced simply for vanity, and at a price that no human being with a minimum of
moral values would care to be a part of. No animal should have to live in the
most abject conditions before they meet with brutal deaths by gassing, anal
electrocution, or plain skinning alive.
In the third millennium, when
societies all over the planet are striving to value all forms of life,
cavemen-like practices should be left where they belonged: THE STONE AGE! We
are living in an era when humans are trying to conquer the universe, and touring
the moon, it is unconscionable to keep skinning animals for clothing as if we
were still living in caves, and eating raw meat.
