Animals for Life is a no-kill animal shelter located in Connecticut. We adopt homeless
cats and dogs into loving families. Every pet in our care receives a veterinary
examination, vaccinations and is spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
If you are
interested in adopting a dog, please visit the shelter in Middlebury. We have dogs and
puppies of many ages, sizes and breeds who are awaiting adoption! The cats and kittens who
are looking for families to call their own live in foster homes. Please check the
"Adopting A Pet" section of our website to see when the next cat adoption will be held.
Animals for Life makes a lifetime commitment to every AFL animal, and our mission does not
end with adoption. AFL volunteers will follow up with you after you adopt your new pet to
offer advice, support, and resource services, should you need them.
