Much of AE's attention has been directed toward animal experimentation at UCSB. We
campaign year-round to educate the
public with respect to what happens behind UCSB’s
locked laboratory doors and have been highly effective: the overall
numbers of animal
experimented upon have been significantly reduced since 1988 and certain experiments
including the LD-50
have been halted.
