Description:
This lovely wilderness lodge is right on the ocean on a privately owned beach in Kachemak Bay State Park, a short boat ride from Homer, Alaska. They offer bear viewing tours, whale watching, eco-tours, sea kayaking, fishing, hiking private trails to hidden alpine valleys, wildlife photography, guides, and more. It is all described on their website at www.sadiecove.com. All inclusive prices bring the guest 3 delicious meals a day, use of lodge kayaks and fishing gear, priavte cabins, log cabin sauna and plunge pool, and a small maximum guest count of 12. Private parties of 8 or more get the entire lodge to themselves and this lodge also hosts weddings, honeymoons, family reunions, and private gatherings. Handbuilt from local driftwood that was collected from the shores of Kachemak Bay over the years, the lodge stands as a testament to what one man can do with a few hand tools, a lot of imagination, and even more perserverance.
