goods: from fruits, vegetables and field crops, to fresh herbs and a variety of
miscellaneous items. An international bio-organic label guaranteeing strict
supervision from seed to market, Carmel "Bio-Top" sets the quality standard for
meeting customer requirements.
Agrexco's Bio–Organic Farming Department
ensures that only premium bio-organically grown goods cultivated by certified
growers are exported under the Carmel Bio-Top label. In order to meet
international regulations, inspection and certification procedures are performed
by the Ministry of Agriculture's Plant Protection and Inspection Services (PPIS)
and by private inspection bodies certified by IFOAM and NOP for the USA.
