Adirondack Whole Life Center provides learning opportunities and experiences that enhance
natural living.
The Vanselows offer Reiki trainings at all levels privately and in
groups (whole families welcome), including "Reiki For the Childbearing Year"-basic Reiki
training for expectant mothers & their partners, led by Doula/Reiki Teacher, Joyce
Vanselow. She plans to develop a version of "Reiki for the Childbearing Year" for
childbirth professionals next year. Joyce's practice spans nearly 17 years, with a decade
of that time teaching all levels of Reiki.
Joyce also currently offers Postpartum Doula
services in support & assistance of new mothers, their partners & families for the
Postpartum experience. She hopes to add Labor support services in the next year to give
more continuity of care. Doulas provide informational, emotional and practical support.
The Vanselows also offer alternative, pagan-friendly and more conventional wedding
officiation, including renewal of vows and handfastings.
