Established in the early 1980's, ARK II focuses on all kinds of issues
affecting animals. Our main areas of concern are the animals being used for
food, research, fashion and entertainment.
In the Windsor Essex County area,
we are very concerned with the growing number of feral cats, pet stores who sell
animals, "backyard" dogs and cases of animal abuse and cruelty.
ARK II is a
group of volunteers and our funding comes strictly through donations. Because of
our advocacy work we are unable to issue tax receipts.
